Larry Smith has traveled many paths during his career. He is a U.S. Navy veteran who was stationed in Asia Pacific and European countries as well as several US locations. Larry’s primary career as an electrical engineer spanned 40 years. He held positions as a designer, device physicist, production test manager, and quality and reliability department manager. Larry worked for many well known companies like Mostek, Inmos, Honeywell, Ramtron, Ford Microelectronics, and Intel. During that time, Larry published several technical articles and papers. Larry’s latest accomplishment is publication of a WWII story titled “Trouble” about a B-24 Liberator crew but he is quick to point out that the “authors” and heroes of that story are the people in it. Larry enjoys beekeeping and video production as rewarding hobbies.
