I am a well educated and experiential Life Coach. I have a passion for coaching youth and their families.
My husband Chris and I have been married for 21 years. We have 4 amazing children, three are teenagers and one is in elementary school. We have lived in the Tri-Lakes community since 2008. In addition to my four, I am blessed to be the spiritual mother to many others. My gladiator girlfriend Robin says, "you collect children like others collect baseball cards," she's right. I love children and teenagers.
My journey to wholeness began with sobriety in January 2010 after loosing my best friend to an overdose in Palmer Lake. It has been single best decision of my life. In 2013, I graduated from ICDC College with a degree in addiction counseling, during which time I became chronically ill with a rare condition. I almost dropped out but with extra support from school and friends, I was named the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) 2014 Outstanding Graduate. I was recognized for using my education to impact my community, by beginning the grassroots non-profit Helping Everyone Recover and supporting my daughter with Operation P.J. The award was given to me by one of my favorite humans, Mr. Mike Rowe. Yes, Mike is just as great in person.
I am certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid and am currently enrolled with Youth Coaching Institute to obtain a special certification in coaching high risk youth. The sum and survival of my life is quite the story but HOW I've rebuilt myself and my life is what makes me one of the best Life Coaches in Colorado. I have amazing mentors that guide and support me to this day. I may have a degree as an addiction counselor and working towards my coaching certification's BUT my life experiences have taught me far more than any classroom. I will challenge your thinking, encourage healing if needed, motivate and hold you accountable. I promise the same spirit that's within me is within you. You just have to be willing to search for it. AGAPE!
